Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all territory operations, including route sales, product distribution, returns processing, account servicing, and new customer acquisition, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and growth objectives. Collaborate closely with the sales team to define route goals, performance standards, and customer expectations while driving accountability and continuous improvement. Supervise and support route sales personnel by providing guidance, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products to effectively assist the sales team, address customer inquiries, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Direct the daily operations of the route distribution center, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Monitor and enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a secure and organized work environment. Analyze route performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and account penetration. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operational and business objectives. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in route sales operations, sales, or account management, with prior industry experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card. Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and corporate customers at all levels. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships. Proven ability in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members. Solid presentation, persuasion, and active listening skills to influence decisions and drive outcomes. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and general computer applications. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and meet job demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
