Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles operate smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, diesel engine work, transmission servicing, wheel alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to guide repairs efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks effectively.
• Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and ensuring overall vehicle maintenance meets manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose complex problems in automotive electrical systems and implement effective solutions while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to estimate repairs accurately using auto estimating software and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines.

Skills

• Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding automotive diagnostics software.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration and alignment procedures.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
• Knowledge of GM vehicles is a plus but not required; familiarity with various makes and models is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
