Flexographic Press Operator - 3rd Shift

Press Operations Full-Time Green Bay, WIShift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMPay Range: $27.00-$34.00/hour (based on skills and experience)

Position Summary

The Flexographic Press Operator supports press operations at a client site in Green Bay, producing labels and packaging that exceed customer expectations. This role focuses on quality, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses efficiently while meeting quality, safety, and production specifications

• Manage materials and minimize waste during production

• Operate narrow-web flexographic presses, including:
  • 10-color 13" water-based flexographic press

  • 8-color 17" full UV flexographic press

• Collaborate with team members to ensure presses are stocked with all required materials

• Provide leadership and support in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen initiatives, ISO quality systems, and continuous improvement

• Contribute to a culture of innovation and support the development of new products for customers

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make equipment-related decisions

• Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and responsiveness

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

Education & Experience

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Mechanical aptitude

Preferred

• Two or more years of printing experience (flexographic preferred; wide-web or offset experience considered)

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems
