Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.00 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. You are eligible to start as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester and transition right into an RN position once you become license pending! Position Specifics: Departments: Various Units Core Function: Nursing Students Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs/wk, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Weekend and holiday rotation Facility: St John's Hospital Location: Springfield, IL Sign On Bonus: up to $25,000 for approved units Compensation that aligns with your experience Education Qualifications * Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Qualifications * Previous healthcare or service industry experience is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations * Illinois: License pending designation in Illinois is required as permitted in the CTS letter. Obtaining licensure within 90 days from the official date of passing the licensure exam is required. * Wisconsin: Temporary Permit is required. Obtaining licensure within three months of temporary permit issue date is required. A temporary permit may be renewed once for an additional three-month period. * Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
