Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services in a school setting located in Ovid, NY. This contract position runs from April through June, with a typical schedule Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The role focuses largely on serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, managing an approximate caseload of 45 students. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech and language disorders, developing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and staff to support student communication goals. The SLP will use clinical expertise to monitor progress and modify therapy techniques as needed to optimize outcomes for students. Ideal candidates will possess a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and relevant school-based licensure. Experience working within educational environments and familiarity with IDEA regulations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload are essential for success.
