Job DescriptionThe Electrical/Electronic Systems Cost Engineer will be responsible for alltechnical costs associated with Electronic Modules and/or Electrical/ElectronicSwitching Devices and associated mechanical mechanisms. Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to: 1) component variable costs and tooling forall vehicles; 2) cost evaluating and collaborating product changes; 3)evaluating tool firm price contracts and verifying asset existence; 4) ensureappropriate escalation to upper management if component cost collaborationscannot be agreed upon with the respective suppliers; 5) supporting internalcompetitive vehicle benchmarking.
