We are seeking Dental Assistants who are passionate about working with children to be a part of our School Based Dental Program in the Philadelphia School District. Our program provides preventative and comprehensive dental care to children ages 5 to 18, in a safe and familiar environment. Services include oral health education, routine exams and cleanings, dental fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.

Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment room.
Prepare patient, instruments, and materials.
Sterilization of all equipment.
Take/process x-Rays using digital Radiography equipment.
Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
Any other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with x-Ray Certification
Two (2) years of experience working chair side preferred
Able to work with portable/mobile equipment
Familiarity with computers and dental software
Valid driver’s license, reliable/own transportation, and willingness to travel locally
Able to work well with children
Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
Prior Pediatric Dentistry experience preferred
