Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine / Medicine Orthopedic Trauma Service - Days - Cornell Campus

At NewYork-Presbyterian we treat pre- and post-operative orthopedic fracture patients through a joint orthopedic/medicine program called the Medicine Orthopedic Trauma Service (MOTS). The PA in this role will co-manage medical care of complex perioperative patients, working with a multidisciplinary team and will be the central provider for the team, with a high degree of autonomy independent thinking / decision making supported by a team of excellent Hospitalists. 

This program has received the Patient Centered Care Team Achievement Award, which recognizes groups of people who come together to develop methods that improve the patient experience. And as we move forward, we continue to build on this success.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Background in managing patients in acute care setting (step-down, cardiology, telemetry, etc.) patients is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years of inpatient experience

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • Current NYS licensure
  • NCCPA certification
  • ACLS & BLS Certification
