*Family Law Associate Attorney (Menlo Park or San Ramon)* FLICKER KERIN, LLP has an opening in our Menlo Park or San Ramon office for a full-time family law attorney. Our comprehensive benefits package includes employer-subsidized health and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick time, a flexible spending account (FSA), a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA), and Health Savings Account (HSA), an employer-funded 401k/profit-sharing contribution, and opportunities to earn quarterly performance-based bonuses. *Responsibilities* * Receive assignments from multiple partners, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously to meet deadlines. * Independently make court appearances and manage family law hearings on behalf of clients. * Work autonomously and collaboratively with paralegals, law clerks, fellow attorneys, and administrative staff. * Communicate clearly, skillfully, and discreetly with clients, Opposing Counsel, experts, consultants, etc. *Skills and Experience* * Must be licensed to practice law in California and should have completed 3 to 7 years of licensed family law experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with Xspouse, Clio, Lawyaw, and Lawgic is preferred. * Candidates must possess excellent research skills and comfort with numerous research tools (WestLaw, Attorneys Briefcase, online resources, and hardcover reference materials). * Candidate should possess excellent writing skills to draft motions, pleadings, letters, memos, and other legal documents. *Expected Hours of Work * * Associates are expected to work during the firms regular business hours, 5 days per week, and be available for additional work when required by case load.
