• Review and verify patient billing information, including insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing discrepancies and obtain necessary documentation.
• Maintain and update patient billing records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in the revenue cycle process.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in medical billing, preferably in ophthalmology or home health care services
• Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and insurance processes
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
