*About us*HANDS Inc. is a non-profit corporation providing a safe and fun environment before and after school in 14 elementary schools in Great Falls, MTOverview:We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to be a positive role model for our children.Duties:- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities- Supervise and monitor children's activities- Maintain a clean and organized childcare setting- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members- Implement behavior management techniques when necessaryRequirements:- Previous experience working with children is preferred- Head Teachers must be 18 years of age with a minimum of 32 completed approved training hours.- Assistants must be 16 years of age and complete trainings within 90 days- Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR is a plus- Experience with school aged children a plus- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage children's behavior effectively- Ability to complete required state mandated trainingsNice-to-have Skills:- Classroom experience- Caregiving background- Special education knowledge- Familiarity with behavior management techniquesThis position offers the opportunity to work in a rewardig environment where you can contribute to the growth and development of young minds.
