Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DME Coordinator to join our growing medical equipment company. This position is based in an office setting and plays a vital role in coordinating patient equipment needs, processing documentation, and working closely with referral sources and delivery staff.

Responsibilities:

·       Process and track DME orders from hospitals, clinics, and physicians

·       Verify patient insurance and obtain required authorizations

·       Prepare and manage patient intake paperwork

·       Communicate with patients regarding equipment delivery and instructions

·       Coordinate with drivers and technicians for timely delivery

·       Maintain accurate patient and order records

·       Provide excellent customer service to patients and referral partners

Qualifications:

·       Experience in Durable Medical Equipment or medical office preferred

·       Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations a plus

·       Strong organizational and communication skills

·       Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

·       Proficient in computer systems and basic office software
