*Employment Type:* Part time *Shift:* Day Shift *Description:* Are you looking for casual hours as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer? Saint Alphonsus has a PRN opportunity for you. Our Sonographer will: * Perform diagnostic ultrasound, physiologic, and duplex studies on patients of all ages according to approved protocols, ultrasound exposure, safety, and established exam indicators including spectral analysis and color Doppler displays. * Schedules and obtains history from patients. * Evaluates the appropriateness of requested exams and assists with procedures. * Some travel between sites expected. *SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* * Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with OB/GYN. * Nuchal Translucency (NT) required within one year of hire. * Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network * High School diploma or equivalent required. * Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred. * Bachelor's degree in science or Allied Health field preferred. *HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS: * When Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.
