Job Description
Job Description
Job Title: EV Service Operations Lead / Buildout Specialist
Location: On-site (Miami & Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Schedule: Monday – Saturday Availability Required
Compensation: $65,000 – $90,000 Base (Negotiable based on experience)
Who We Are We run one of South Florida's largest commercial fleet vehicle repair and maintenance operations. Operating 24/7 across 12+ locations, we service the biggest names in logistics: Amazon, UPS, USPS, DHL, and major commercial fleets from Miami to Central Florida. We have $3.5M+ in Amazon inventory on hand, 15+ service bays, and a network of ASE-certified technicians.
The Mission We are actively building out full Electric Vehicle (EV) service capabilities across our Miami and Fort Lauderdale locations and pursuing Rivian Commercial Fleet Certification.
We need someone who has actually been in EV service operations before—not someone who just read about it. This is a full-time, embedded role. You will be on the floor in our shops, working with our team, and driving this massive buildout from the inside. If you want to actually build something instead of just maintaining something, we want to talk.
What You Will Own
Assess & Execute: Evaluate our current operations against EV service requirements, identify the gaps, and execute the fix (we want action, not just a report).
Compliance & Safety: Build out our high-voltage safety compliance program and technician training roadmap from scratch.
Infrastructure Setup: Lead equipment specification and EV service bay setup across multiple locations.
Process Development: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for EV diagnostics, repair, and maintenance workflows.
Rivian Certification: Drive our Rivian fleet partner certification preparation from end to end.
Team Leadership: Train our existing technician staff, coordinate with OEM resources, and act as the internal technical expert as we scale statewide.
What You Need to Succeed
Real Experience: Hands-on experience working in EV service operations (dealership, fleet service center, OEM service network, or similar).
Platform Knowledge: Direct experience with Rivian, Ford Pro Electric, Ram ProMaster EV, or comparable commercial EVs is strongly preferred.
Safety Expertise: Working knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E EV safety compliance. (High-voltage safety training/certification is preferred; if you don't have it yet but have the experience, we can work with that).
Location: Must be based in South Florida (or willing to relocate immediately). You will be fully on-site in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Requirements: US work authorization is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
What We Offer
$65,000–$90,000 Base Salary: We negotiate based on the exact experience you bring to the table.
Real Ownership: A chance to build an EV division from scratch inside a growing operation that already has the infrastructure and client base.
Zero Bureaucracy: Direct access to ownership and fast decision-making.
Long-Term Growth: A foundational leadership role as we expand our EV capabilities statewide.
Company Description
Fast-moving fleet operation. Real responsibility from day one. You grow as fast as you perform.
