Summary: Ensures appropriate user access and support for all food service data systems. Monitors and ensures data compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory agencies. Designs and provides training for system users. Collaborates with the food service and clinical team in the planning and development of menus and new initiatives. Enters and maintains data integrity for all items, recipes, and menus and ensures item selections are compliant with diet restrictions. Manages and updates all point-of-sale systems. Develops and provides management reports to support continuous improvement and operational decision making. Liaison with IS on all design, implementation, updates, and maintenance of data systems for the department. Responsibilities:- •Manages staff access of specialized data systems for foodservice operations.
- •Monitors operational activity from software systems to ensure policy/procedures/processes compliance.
- •Designs, implements, and evaluates training programs for system users. Trains new users and provides ongoing assistance and support of system users. Updates training materials to reflect changes or upgrades to the system and provides education to staff.
- •Conduct super user, administrator, and stakeholders training on reporting tools for food service operations.
- •Provides training opportunities for dietetic interns as requested
- •Collaborates with culinary, clinical, retail and service staff and departmental stakeholders in the planning and development of menus and service initiatives. Facilitates ongoing revision of menus and implementation of programs to enhance the patient, guests, and customer experience.
- •Develops and provides management reporting tools for continuous quality improvement to enhance customer service levels and support operational decision making. Participates in the department performance improvement/quality management activities and provides operational data analysis and reports to leadership for review.
- •Collaborates with Information Services on the design, development, implementation, modification, and evaluation of automated systems for department operations. Presents recommendations for automated solutions to enhance system and department functionality.
- •Maintains knowledge of laws and methods of protecting health data security and compliance with privacy regulations
- •Provide first tier support, enters data, and utilizes departmental software systems for the development and implementation of best-in-class food and nutrition services.
- At least 3 years Foodservice and/or Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Req
- At least 5 years Foodservice and/or Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and CBORD system experience Pref
- Four-year Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred degree in Food and Nutrition Req
- Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager Pref
