The Services Engagement Manager (SEM) is responsible for setting our Quality Cloud customers up for success, representing the entire value proposition and effort behind a Quality Cloud Implementation. This critical role ensures successful implementation and is integral to the sales cycle and project delivery, acting as a solution expert in close collaboration with the Veeva Sales and Services Teams.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for Software Implementation and expertise in Life Sciences Quality Sales, structuring the right solution, setting appropriate expectations, and defining project scope, staffing, timelines, and costs. RFx responses, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOW) are key deliverables, along with potential implementation partner recommendations and strategic team alignment before project initiation.

This is a remote, full-time, permanent role with no specific work location requirement, provided you are near an airport and able to meet future travel needs.

What Youll Do
  • Utilize your Life Sciences experience and Veeva product knowledge to structure implementation approaches, set expectations, and define project scope, staffing, timelines, and costs.
  • Develop and deliver proposals and Statements of Work for Quality implementations and consulting services.
  • Align with customers and internal stakeholders to set realistic expectations for long-term success.
  • Coordinate with the partner ecosystem for awareness and alignment.
  • Position Managed Services support, training, and other solutions to ensure a successful customer experience.
  • Travel estimate: Less than 25%.
Requirements
  • Experience in Life Sciences and/or Quality, especially in Document Management, GxP Training, Quality Event Management, Validation Management, or LIMS.
  • Ability to work closely with Sales, Strategy, and Services teams to design customer-specific Vault Safety implementation strategies and establish success metrics.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an executive presence and facilitation experience.
  • Negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • At least 5 years of experience delivering consulting services, including selling those services.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

  • Experience with cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of compliance and validation standards in Life Sciences.
  • Proven success in selling services.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $85,000 - $170,000, depending on experience and location.
  • Additional compensation options may include bonuses and stock.
