We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive legal service in workers' compensation law. *Duties*
* Manage a caseload including all aspects of litigation from inception to trial/resolution.
* Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
* Draft clear, precise legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence tailored to client needs.
* Managing case files, organizing evidence, and preparing for court proceedings or negotiations.
* Negotiate settlements and client agreements across various practice areas.
* Stay current on relevant laws and regulations by reviewing updates.
* Participate in client meetings to gather information, explain legal options, and provide updates on case progress.
* Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for litigation or transactional matters while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
*Requirements*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in California.
* Proven experience or strong interest in practicing multiple areas of law.
* Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal documents and correspondence.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret complex laws and regulations effectively.
* Effective negotiation skills to facilitate client settlements or contractual agreements.
* Prior experience with legal administrative tasks such as case management and document organization is preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
