Job Description

Position Summary
The Concrete Wall Foreman is responsible for leading field crews in the layout, forming, placing, and finishing of concrete wall systems. This role oversees daily jobsite operations, ensures work is completed safely and on schedule, and maintains high quality standards while coordinating with project management and inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct concrete wall crews on active job sites
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and wall layouts
• Lay out footing lines, wall elevations, and embed placement
• Oversee formwork (ICF, gang forms, wood forms, etc.), rebar installation, and concrete placement
• Ensure proper vibration, consolidation, curing, and stripping procedures
• Coordinate concrete pours, pump trucks, and material deliveries
• Monitor crew productivity and maintain daily work schedules
• Enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA compliance
• Perform quality control inspections and correct deficiencies
• Communicate daily progress, issues, and manpower needs to Project Manager
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timecards, and material usage
• Train and mentor crew members in best practices and safe work methods

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on concrete wall experience, including foreman or lead roles
• Strong knowledge of wall forming systems, rebar placement, and concrete finishes
• Ability to read blueprints and layout walls accurately
• Experience managing crews and coordinating pours
• Solid understanding of jobsite safety requirements
• Reliable, organized, and capable of leading by example

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commercial and/or residential concrete wall systems
• Knowledge of ICF, tilt-up, or foundation walls
• Ability to operate or oversee concrete equipment (pumps, vibrators, etc.)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction sites in varying weather conditions
• Physically demanding work including lifting, standing, and climbing
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven projects
