Location: Los Angeles, CA or Lancaster, CA – Primarily on-site with the opportunity to collaborate closely with an experienced litigation team.
Note: Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar and have at least 2+ years of insurance coverage or insurance bad faith litigation experience.

Job Description
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions in state and federal court.
- Analyze insurance policies, claims files, and adjuster conduct to identify bad faith exposure.
- Conduct and defend depositions involving insureds, adjusters, underwriters, and expert witnesses.
- Participate in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Research and analyze California insurance law and coverage issues.
- Collaborate with attorneys, experts, and litigation support professionals to develop case strategy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
- Manage deadlines and multiple active litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- 2+ years of insurance coverage or insurance bad faith litigation experience.
- Strong knowledge of California insurance law.
- Familiarity with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and California Code of Civil Procedure.
- Experience handling first-party and/or third-party insurance claims and coverage analysis.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative litigation team.
