Join Our Team as an Optician at Dunkirk Vision! We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. If you have a strong customer service background and a desire to make our patients happy, we want to hear from you! Daily Responsibilities: Assist patients in frame selection Aid patients in selecting appropriate eyeglass lenses for occupational and lifestyle demands Take proper measurements for various lens types Dispense eyeglasses, make adjustments, and perform repairs Place spectacle orders through visionweb and vision plan sites Verify and inspect completed glasses when received from lab Notify and schedule patients for optical dispensing Required Skills: Eye Care knowledge Optical Sales experience Strong patient care skills Genuine desire to help patients Strong optical knowledge in lens materials and frames Nice to Have Skills: Optical management Experience in retail sales and merchandising Knowledge of inventory control Understanding of HIPAA regulations Health care background Able to edge lenses for patient owned frames Salary and Benefits: Salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $66,000 annually, commensurate with experience and training.
