Job Description
HVAC Commercial Service Technician
Pay rate: $28-35/Hr. | Full-Time | On-site
Location: Houston, TX 77002
Position Summary:
The HVAC Commercial Service Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment at customer job sites. This role requires previous commercial service experience. Technicians represent the company onsite and play a critical role in equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment
• Conduct maintenance inspections and service calls
• Document service activities, findings, and repairs accurately
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, timelines, and solutions
• Maintain tools, service vehicle, and test equipment in safe working condition
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements
• Travel to customer locations as required
Required Qualifications:
• Universal EPA certification
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service and repair experience
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Must have 5-10 years of experience working with chiller HVAC systems
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
