We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in J2EE platforms, operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows), application support, and scripting. This role will require hands-on troubleshooting, deployment support, and monitoring in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Provide end-to-end support for applications running on J2EE platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Manage and respond to incident tickets via ServiceNow (SNOW) or equivalent ticketing systems.
• Perform code deployments, including post-deployment automation and validation.
• Monitor system logs using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Support systems running in cloud environments and with containerized deployments.

• Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with J2EE platforms and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
  • Experience with JBoss or similar application servers.
  • Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, and Python.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog).
  • Experience in code deployment processes and post-deployment automation.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
