Job Description
General Construction Operator
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
TRG Staffing Solutions is currently hiring an experienced General Construction Operator for a growing construction company. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual with a strong background in general construction who can work independently while delivering quality workmanship.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of construction tasks on residential and commercial job sites. Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, and install lumber and other building materials according to project specifications. Assist with framing, demolition, remodeling, repairs, and site preparation. Load, unload, transport, and organize construction materials and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Inspect tools and equipment and report maintenance needs. Follow project plans, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions. Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as required.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in general construction or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and lumber. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to meeting project deadlines.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
OSHA 10 Certification is an asset but not required. What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Self-starter who takes initiative. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
