Intuit is seeking skilled tax professionals to join our team as dedicated TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to empower customers in navigating their tax needs.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit TurboTax products. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your tax expertise to provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support.

• You will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.'
• Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer's unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical in alleviating stress related to tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be proactive in engaging with new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through outreach efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Possess active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
