Job Description

LOCUM Physician

Start ASAP

8-hour shifts, 2- days a week.

Pay $135 an hour

You can set your own schedule M-F based on the days you have available.

They'll make rounds and sign off on charts from NP/PA.

We are seeking a Part-time or Locum Tenens BE/BC Physician interested in working with a care model that delivers exceptional results in post-acute and long-term care at a Skilled Nursing Facility. This position will serve the Nags Head, VA area.

Responsibilities:

Start date: 2-3 weeks

• Six (6) month contract
• Full or Part Time
• Open to 2-3 days coverage/week, 8-hour shifts
• MD handles admissions (sign off) and patient recertification
• Pre-rounds and full H&P performed by NP; med management/stabilization
• Serves in a support role for the NP for chronic patients
• Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients
• ADC 28 patients/day
• EMR: Gehrimed; Facility uses Point Click Care; training provided
• Ability to document on site or at home; laptop provided; document within 24-48hrs max.

Qualifications:

• Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, Primary Care
• Active/clear NCa Medical License
• Unencumbered DEA license required
• Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
• Ability to chart daily visits in an EMR in a timely manner
• Clean Background for expedited credentialing
• Positive attitude and customer service oriented
