Regional Midwest Fleet
Weekly Pay: $1,450–$1,650
Home Time: Weekly + 3 weekends home each month
Location: Cleveland
Freight: Regional dry van | Mostly drop & hook | Consistent miles
Looking for a regional run that keeps you moving without keeping you out too long? This position is built for CDL-A drivers who want steady freight, familiar Midwest lanes, and a schedule that brings you home more often than most regional fleets.
Position OverviewCK Transportation is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a Heartland fleet running Midwest regional freight. Drivers average around 2,100 miles per week on shorter, repeat lanes that help create a predictable routine. Freight stays consistent, and dispatch works to keep drivers moving without unnecessary downtime.
Home TimeDrivers receive a minimum 34-hour reset every week, along with three weekends home per month. There is also a mid-week break built into the rotation. This structure works well for drivers who want regional miles while still having reliable, planned time at home.
Pay & BenefitsWeekly earnings typically range from $1,450 to $1,650 depending on miles and performance. A guaranteed minimum pay program helps protect income during slower weeks. Drivers may also earn additional income through safety and fuel efficiency incentives.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation time, and a 401(k) with company match. Per diem options are available for those who qualify.
Freight & EquipmentFreight is primarily no-touch dry van with a high percentage of drop-and-hook loads. Some live load or unload may occur, but dispatch plans routes to keep transitions efficient and productive.
Drivers operate 2016 or newer Freightliner Cascadia, International, and Kenworth tractors equipped with inverters and idle management systems. Take-home trucks may be available for drivers with safe parking.
RequirementsMust be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL. Drivers need either 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience or 1 year within the past 3 years. Experience must be on trailers 48 feet or longer.
