We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to residents. This role focuses on supporting mobility, strength, and functional outcomes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Reporting: This position reports directly to the Physical Therapist and collaborates with the rehabilitation team and interdisciplinary staff.
Role Overview
Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision
Document therapy sessions and resident progress accurately and timely
Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and functional activities
Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary team
Participate in care conferences and therapy-related activities, as applicable
What We’re Looking For
Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
New graduates are welcome to apply; experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
Knowledge of PDPM and basic documentation standards
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Physical ability to safely assist residents with mobility and therapeutic activities
