Hourly Pay Range: $40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:- Position: Cancer Care Collaborative Nurse, GU Oncology Clinic
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Days- 8am- 4:30pm
- Hours: 40
- Required Travel: Traveling to Swedish Hospital as needed
- What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required, BMTCN/OCN certs preferred
- Experience: Minimum 1-year Oncology experience required; GU Oncology experience preferred.
- Skills: N/A
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations
- Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
