Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Nights) | New Mexico

We are actively seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in New Mexico. This is a great opportunity for skilled critical care nurses looking for competitive pay and a dynamic clinical environment.

Position Details

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Weekly Pay:$1,800 – $1,944 (depending on experience)
• EMR System: MedHost
• Scrubs: No specific color requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Manage ventilators, high-flow oxygen, and BiPAP
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Apply advanced disease process knowledge in patient care
• Follow ICU best practices including ABCDEF bundle protocols
• Float as needed to Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (MS) units

Requirements

• Active RN License in New Mexico OR Compact RN License (Nurse Licensure Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Preferred:
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Ideal Candidate

• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
• Comfortable floating between ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
• Experience in high-acuity environments
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
