Job Title: Providing Quality Patient Care

Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.  Your primary responsibility will be to work under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within your licensed scope. This may involve administering medications, observing patients for adverse reactions, performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services, educating patients/families about disease treatment plans including self-care post-discharge holistic health needs available resources follow-up care documenting providers encounters with patients listing proper diagnoses symptoms discharge instructions prescriptions transcribing patient orders completing charts by transcribing results labs x-rays other evaluations continuously checking progress data availability orders ensuring workup complete allowing provider make treatment decisions regarding that patient consulting discussing family private physicians or on-call physicians maintaining constant state alertness safe manner handling additional duties assigned.
