We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role requires proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC), HVAC/R systems, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of equipment and systems while providing excellent customer service.
*Duties*
* Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems and HVAC units.
* Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Operate scissor lifts safely to access equipment for repairs.
* Apply precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for equipment repairs.
* Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
* Provide technical sales support when required, assisting customers with product inquiries.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
* Familiarity with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
* Experience working with hydraulic systems, HVAC/R units, and related technologies.
* Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Previous field service experience is preferred, along with solid customer service skills.
* Military experience is a plus, particularly in technical roles related to mechanics or electrical work.
