* Responsible for the fabrication, lay out, position, alignment, and fitting of metal products per customer requirements.
* Interpret and work from complex drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
* Use a large variety of tools including but not limited to, MIG/TIG welders, Spot Welder, PEM Press, Bridgeport vertical mill, Plate Roller, Tubing Bender, Pipe Coper, Glass Bead Booth, small blast cabinets, turn tables, etc.
* Responsible to determine what welding process needs to be done and the proper tooling required.
* Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances. Perform inspection of incoming parts and self-inspection of completed parts.
* Notifying supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous fabricators.
* Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports. Will maintain clean equipment/tools and work area.
* Use of fork trucks and overhead cranes.
* All department and company policies.
