Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electrician Journeyman! We specialize in everything from Automation and Controls, Light Fixture Repairs and/or Machine Equipment Repair in a professional and industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Perform electrical work primarily within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Install and bend EMT, rigid conduit, PVC, and stainless-steel tubing and conduit.
  • Install stainless-steel electrical systems in clean-room and controlled environments.
  • Install and terminate power, lighting, control, instrumentation, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, control diagrams, and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot motors, equipment, control panels, circuits, and electrical components.
  • Install panels, disconnects, transformers, breakers, receptacles, lighting, and equipment connections.
  • Perform control wiring and assist with equipment automation and instrumentation installations.
  • Follow pharmaceutical facility procedures, including gowning, cleanliness, documentation, and access requirements.
  • Work safely around active manufacturing equipment and occupied facilities.
  • Coordinate work with project managers, facility personnel, other trades, and helpers.
  • Direct and oversee electrical helpers when assigned.
  • Maintain an organized work area and protect surrounding equipment and production areas.
  • Complete work in accordance with the NEC, project specifications, and company safety standards.
  • Accurately document completed work, material usage, and field conditions.
  • Work occasional nights, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when required.

​​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical field or other related fields
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and own hand tools
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must have Drivers License
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
  • Must have own transportation
  • Must Have Journeyman's license
