We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
* Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
* Perform field service tasks to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively.
* Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory of parts used.
* Adhere to safety protocols while performing all tasks in compliance with industry standards.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in construction or property maintenance.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with HVAC design principles and refrigeration cycles.
* Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and pressure gauges.
* Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
