*Position Overview*
The Removal Defense Attorney will represent clients in removal proceedings and related humanitarian and family-based cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney ready to deepen courtroom experience and grow within a collaborative, supportive environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master and individual hearings.
* Prepare and file asylum, cancellation of removal, motions, and appeals.
* Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to prepare strong factual and legal records.
* Maintain consistent communication with clients in Spanish and English.
* Conduct legal research, draft briefs and memoranda, and develop litigation strategies.
* Participate in training and case strategy sessions.
*Qualifications*
* J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar license in good standing (any state).
* 2–4 years of immigration law experience, including removal defense or humanitarian cases.
* Fluency in Spanish and English required.
* Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
* Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to immigrant rights.
