Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

The radiologic technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. They operate X-ray equipment, positioning patients for optimal image quality and ensuring their safety during the procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray units to produce high-quality images under the supervision of a radiologist
• Position patients for optimal image quality
• Ensure patient safety during the procedure
• Assist with room setup and keep patient care areas well stocked
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology
• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in radiology
• Clinical radiology experience preferred

Certifications & Licensures:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current, valid Texas driver's license
• Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT)- Temporary General Certificate from the State of Texas
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General Certificate from the State of Texas
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R)
