Shift 3: 31.85/hr, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Mon to Thur
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with at least two years of experience to fabricate and weld filtration equipment, piping, and structural components. This role requires interpreting blueprints, work orders, and AWS welding symbols while producing high-quality welds in a safe, team-oriented manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience with GMAW, FCAW, and fabrication processes, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and works independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, piping, and structural assemblies using GMAW and FCAW processes.
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, bill of materials (BOMs), AWS welding symbols, NARs, routings, and ECN changes.
  • Select appropriate welding wire, shielding gases, and adjust wire feed speed and voltage for optimal weld quality.
  • Operate preheat-cutting torch, stud welder, and overhead crane safely.
  • Complete shop work orders, rework documentation, and utilization reports accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety and quality procedures.
  • Support team operations, mentor coworkers when needed, and assist in resolving fabrication issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experience.
  • Knowledge of AWS welding symbols and codes.
  • Proficiency in GMAW and FCAW welding processes.
  • AWS 1G Unlimited Thickness or ASME Section IX certification preferred.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes, stud welders, and cutting torches.
  • Ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues, work independently, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
