Job Description

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along designated routes.
• Maintain discipline and ensure the safety of all students during transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate with school staff and parents as needed.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements.
• Must be able to pass all requirements of the Ohio Department of Education, including background checks and drug tests.
• Strong commitment to safety and excellent driving record.
• Ability to manage and interact with children in a positive and professional manner.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
