Manufacturing Associate

Forming Team Operator– Direct Hire Opportunity

American Tank & Fabrication (AT&F)

Pay:

Starting Pay: $22 – $25/hr (most start at $23–$24)

Shift Options:

1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 3:30pm, Overtime before shift

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday | 3:30pm – 2:00am, +$2.00 shift premium, Overtime on Fridays

Weekend Shift (1st Shift): Friday – Sunday | 6:00am – 6:00pm, Work 36 hours, get paid for 40, Additional OT available

We’re hiring motivated, hands-on individuals to join the Forming Team at AT&F, where you’ll help build components for some of the largest, most advanced equipment in the world—including projects that support the U.S. Navy’s submarine program.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity with long-term growth, strong pay, and a team-first culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Work with large-scale press brakes and rolling equipment
2. Assist in forming heavy steel components for major industrial and defense projects
3. Use tools like hand grinders and measuring equipment
4. Read and learn blueprints and specifications
5. Operate in a team-driven, high-performance manufacturing environment

Skills That Set You Up for Success:

1. Comfortable with basic math and fractions
2. Able to read a tape measure accurately (down to 1/16”)
3. Interested in learning blueprint reading
4. Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment
5. Hot in summer / cooler in winter
6. Material moved by overhead cranes (not manual lifting)
7. Experience in press brake, CNC, or metal fabrication is a plus—but not required.
