Our store is seeking a Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, assisting customers with their purchases while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by being approachable and helpful.
• Perform cash register operations accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain the check-out, shopping cart and box storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Assist with stocking, display-building and porter duties as needed.
• Follow injury prevention, safety training and security procedures at all times.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve the customer.
• Perform all duties assigned by Store Management.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to operate business machines such as scanners and computer keyboards.
• Ability to pass applicable alcohol training classes and maintain certification.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments on time.
• Ability to write legibly and read small type.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Benefits:

• This is a part-time seasonal position.
• Hourly pay rate is $16.75.
