A Principal Consultant is an experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product / technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client‑specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients. You will mitigate solution risks and issues. You will execute workflow and process improvement strategies. You will lead client meetings and events. You will drive internal team initiatives.

  • Conversion coverage and current state assessment.
  • Documenting workflows across coding, release of information, and chart management.
  • Presenting complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Understanding and completing configuration within AccessHIM, Revenue Cycle, Solventum Solutions, and Charge Management solutions.
  • Explaining and documenting HIM‑related workflows, including professional coding, technical coding, deficiency management, charge correction, and charge entry.
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and / or other client‑facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health, Health Information Management (HIM) product(s).
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self‑starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in system design and build.
  • Experience in conversion and current state assessment.
  • Experience in workflow documentation.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience with the following : Solventum Solutions (previously 3M), Charge Entry and Charge Correction, Professional and Technical Coding, and Federal Billing Practices.
  • Understanding of HIM‑related workflows including registration integration, charge entry, and billing integration workflows.
Expectations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.

US : Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $60.63 per hour; from : $53,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
