DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Goose Creek, South Carolina. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to key financial operations, including billing, record-keeping, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounting tasks efficiently.Responsibilities:• Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and on time.• Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure financial records are complete and accurate.• Handle contract billing procedures, including invoicing and tracking payments.• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.• Input and verify data in the Sage 100 accounting system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.• Collaborate with team members to ensure proper documentation of subcontractor insurance.• Assist with general accounting functions, including financial reporting and analysis.• Support quarterly financial reviews and contribute to bonus calculation processes.• Address and resolve discrepancies in financial data in a timely manner.• Provide administrative support for accounting operations as needed.
