No experience? No problem—we provide hands-on training to help you succeed. As an Animal Care Technician, you'll provide essential care and support for research animals. Your responsibilities include: * Feed and care for all species within the animal facility. * Change soiled cages and bedding; clean and sanitize animal pens and rooms. * Operate cage washers and tunnel washers; maintain sanitation records. * Remove waste and bedding from animal pans. * Document all cleaning and sanitation practices accurately. * Observe animals daily for health and report any concerns. * Assist with record keeping, inventory, and laundry tasks. Pay & Schedule: * Pay Range: $18/hr.-$19/hr. plus 5% shift differential. * Training: 4-6 weeks, 6:30 AM-3:15 PM CST. * Full-time day shift: Start between 6:00-8:00 AM; weekends/holidays required.
