Job Description

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a leading company in Irving to find an Assistant Controller. An ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, leadership experience, project management skills, a solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to prioritize competing deliverables.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• CPA certification.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet regular and ad hoc deadlines.
• Executive-level written and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Big 4 accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP and PBCS
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
