Job DescriptionOverview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their vehicle maintenance experience. Your expertise in automotive service will help guide customers in making informed decisions regarding their vehicle needs while ensuring a seamless service process.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, tire services, and diesel engine repairs.
- Utilize your knowledge of vehicle maintenance to recommend appropriate services and repairs.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of services.
- Prepare and present estimates for repairs and services, ensuring clarity for the customer.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to automotive service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices, including air brake systems and tire services.
- Sales experience is a plus, enabling you to effectively promote additional services.
- Proficient in auto estimating processes to provide accurate quotes for customers.
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
