We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with over f*ive years of hands-on expertise *to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. *Duties*
* Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
* Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
* Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters.
* Conduct mechanical systems repair and maintenance, including welding and plumbing tasks as needed.
* Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC/R issues efficiently.
* Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed.
* Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing leak detection.
* Assist with HVAC system installation projects from start to finish while adhering to safety standards.
* Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent future breakdowns and optimize performance.
*Skills*
* Extensive construction experience combined with field service expertise in HVAC systems.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
* Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and building automation systems.
