Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

Average $71000 annually

Local, home daily

Hazmat endorsement required

If hazmat not currently held, candidates must acquire endorsement within 30 days from hire date. Associated costs will be reimbursed upon hire

You will drive:

Late model, Penske Truck Leasing straight trucks with lift-gates

Best-in-class specs designed for comfort

XM Radio in all trucks

Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

Driver will deliver automotive parts to retail stores

Unload palletized freight with pallet jack

Scan product upon delivery

Schedule:

5-day work week with 2 consecutive days off

Third shift dispatch

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class B license with Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
