Gage Hospitality Group is currently seeking a fun and passionate Bartender to join our team at Acanto Restaurant & Wine Bar. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the restaurant's high productivity, quality, and customer service standards are maintained.

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Floor Manager
• Attend pre-shift to review menu and daily specials
• Provide a pleasant drinking experience to customers
• Serve drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary work station
• Prepare and maintain beverage ingredients by following recipes
• Ring all food and beverage items with 100% accuracy to ensure proper flow of service 
• Properly handle all guest payments with 100% accuracy 
• Correctly audit and balance cash/credit card receipts as part of daily checkout procedures 
• Responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures in a timely manner
• Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation and safety procedures and maintains appropriate dating, labeling and rotation of all beverage items 
• Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with all employees, managers and guests

Required Education, Experience and Documentation:

• ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate, BASSET Certificate
• At least 2 year of experience in a fast-pace, busy, high volume restaurant 
• Ability to fluently speak, write and read in the English language
