Salary: $86,800 - 165,200 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a bachelors degree in STEM and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
  • We need five years of experience developing and integrating software applications in test environments using C, C#, and C++, along with exposure to Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
  • We require hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • We require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret clearance before starting.
  • We require U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • We prefer familiarity with computer architecture and hardware optimization methods.
  • We prefer experience developing software drivers for computer hardware interfaces.
  • We prefer working knowledge of common hardware interfaces and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422.
  • We prefer familiarity with laboratory test equipment, electronics, and related software, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
  • We prefer experience using UML to map software architecture and design.
  • We prefer exposure to software development lifecycles such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • We prefer knowledge of software configuration management principles.
  • We prefer experience with Azure DevOps Server or GitHub.
  • We prefer strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • We design, build, and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows.
  • We manage multiple software engineering assignments at the same time and keep priorities on track.
  • We diagnose and resolve issues in software and test equipment instrumentation.
  • We collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • We develop and refine requirements for software products.
  • We contribute to the design, development, integration, and ongoing support of applications, libraries, and instrument drivers.
  • We help support factory operations for weapon system product development and sustainment.
  • We work independently or as part of a team to deliver system-level applications across engineering and production stages.
