As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. Position Overview

We are currently hiring an Auto Body Technician to join our collision repair team. This position is responsible for repairing and restoring commercial trucks, service vehicles, trailers, and fleet equipment to pre-accident condition while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate will have experience with structural repairs, panel replacement, welding, frame straightening, dent removal, surface preparation, and refinishing support. Job Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle bodies to assess damage and determine repair requirements
  • Repair and replace damaged body components including doors, fenders, bumpers, hoods, panels, and structural components
  • Perform collision repairs on commercial trucks, service vehicles, trailers, and fleet equipment
  • Complete structural repairs and frame straightening using frame machines and measuring systems
  • Utilize welding, fabrication, metalworking, and body repair techniques to restore damaged vehicles
  • Perform dent repairs and paintless dent repair (PDR) when applicable
  • Prepare vehicles for paint through sanding, masking, body filler application, and surface preparation
  • Repair steel, aluminum, and fiberglass components as required
  • Inspect completed repairs to ensure proper fitment, finish quality, and adherence to industry standards
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate findings with management and service personnel
  • Collaborate with technicians and service staff to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Stay current with industry advancements, repair procedures, and best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician, Collision Repair Technician, or Auto Body Repair Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and collision repair procedures
  • Experience using body shop equipment including welders, frame machines, measuring systems, and fabrication tools
  • Ability to accurately assess damage and develop effective repair plans
  • Experience with structural repairs, panel replacement, welding, and refinishing preparation
  • Experience working on commercial trucks, fleet vehicles, or heavy-duty equipment is considered an asset
  • Experience with fiberglass repair is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
